Ana Lua Caiano joins tradition with innovation.
The artist explores musical fusion, through the combination of Portuguese tradition with electronics, with sounds from the past united with synthesizers, beat-machines and field recordings. Her music brings the traditional Portuguese heritage to the modern world.
Her debut album Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado is considered by major national and international media as one of the Best Albums of 2024. The tour for her first full-length album included around 80 dates in 2024, across Portugal and beyond, with performances at major national festivals (Primavera Sound, Bons Sons, MEO Kalorama) and international events (Eurosonic, OOAM Festival, Babel Med, Les Suds à Arles, Roskilde Festival, Mar de Músicas, Reeperbahn, BAM Festival, Tromsø World Fest, Oslo World, among others). 2024 also marked Ana Lua Caiano’s nomination for the Music Moves Europe awards, her participation in the COLORSxSTUDIOS channel, and her victory at the Golden Globes in the Best Song category with the track Deixem o Morto Morrer.
